Shipping Options and Information

We offer USPS and UPS services for shipping orders. Most orders are shipped the same day but we do not offer overnight shipping. Customers seem to place next-day orders at 4:30pm and expect delivery the next morning. Really!? If you got to have it the next day for some emergency, please call or email us and we will try to accomodate your situation.

United States Postal Service (USPS)

We recommend USPS Priority Mail services for the quickest and most economical domestic shipping option for orders up to 4 units. USPS provides tracking numbers but they are inconsistent at scanning these barcodes during shipment. Don't be surprised if your tracking number doesn't update or gets "stuck" at a location. Priority Mail delivers in 2-3 days within the continental US. Please note that universities and government facilities may keep a USPS package in a central mail room rather than deliver to an office or lab.

United Parcel Service (UPS)

We include UPS Ground, 3-day Select, Worldwide Expedited, and Worldwide Saver options. UPS provides prompt service and excellent tracking services. We recommend UPS if a package is shipped to a university, government facility, or military base. In general, UPS will deliver to an office or lab and won't get stuck in a mail room like Priority Mail.

UPS and FedEx Customer Accounts

We can also ship orders using your FedEx or UPS account. Select "local pickup" (no shipping charges) during the order checkout process and provide your UPS or FedEx account number and instructions in the order comments section.

Please note that import taxes are the responsibility of the customer upon receipt of the package. Some countries can levy taxes up to 30 percent! Email our sales staff if you have special instructions for customs declaration that may help alleviate the tax burden. Some countries add an additional fee upon delivery of Express Mail packages.

United States Postal Service (USPS)

We provide USPS Priority Mail for shipping to international customers. This method uses the destination country's local post system for delivery of the package. Please provide a complete and accurate address to reduce the chance of a lost package. The USPS tracking numbers are not recognized by other countries so the status will not update after leaving the USA. Import regulations and customs can slow the delivery of packages. Also, remember that the customer is responsible for all import taxes upon receiving the product. Here are notes regarding USPS international services:

United Parcel Service (UPS)

Although an expensive option, UPS is proven to be the best at international shipments. Their tracking service is excellent and they seem to get packages through customs quickly. We include UPS Worldwide Expedited and Worldwide Saver options for international orders. Note that the customer is responsible for all import taxes upon receiving the product.

FedEx and DHL

We can ship FedEx and DHL international. Please call us to make these arrangements.
